Handmade American Chopper Invitations
Handmade invitations for a kid’s American Chopper motorcycle themed party can start the fun and keep it going. Pick up a pen or marker that writes silver at the craft store. Then grab a package of white paper plates. The plates are a good light card stock for this project. Using a motorcycle picture from a magazine or newspaper add as a template draw the outline of a motorcycle on the paper plate for your homemade invitation and cut it out. Make sure it fits your envelope. For every guest make two cutouts. Use the silver pen to outline a very basic motorcycle on the front of each handmade card. The silver will look a lot like chrome. Try to make it look as much like the American Chopper logo as possible. Write the time, date, place, and any other info on the back. The one with the information goes in the envelope as the homemade invitation and the other is used as a handmade place card decoration with the addition of the child’s name. The place card turns into a party favor the kids can color and take home with them.
For an adult group, use black poster board or card stock. Draw in the outline with the silver gel pen. Add a slogan on the front like “Calling All Easy Riders”, “Call of the Road” or “The Road Starts here. It never Ends”. For the handmade place card / decoration put funny nicknames, be outrageous your guests will get a real knick out of being Outlaw Mary or Frankie the Dude. Especially for the adults try mailing the homemade invitations in silver envelopes that will give a chrome look.
As many are obsessed with Choppers what a great idea to have an American Chopper party and invite the cool friends. Have chopper center pieces, chopper posters, black balloons, and confetti everywhere in the fiesta. Have a chopper piñata and enjoy.
