Handmade Baseball Invitations
Handmade invitations for baseball theme parties transport you to days of summer. Give guests an invitation to remember. Either find a picture of a baseball glove online or in a catalog for sports equipment. Next, get brown construction or craft paper, a pack of white paper plates, and some markers. Any color marker will do, team colors work great. If the baseball glove picture is from the internet, enlarge it until you have a size that is large enough to let you add detail but small enough to fit into an envelope. If it is from an add or catalog use it as a guide to draw a basic glove shaped outline on one of the paper plates. Cut out the glove picture or paper plate outline and use it as a template to trace baseball gloves on the brown paper. Use the markers to draw in the stitching and details to make it look like a glove. Remember you want it to have that homemade charm so be creative.
Find a round shape; anything will do. Just be sure that it will fit inside the area of the glove because it will be your baseball shape. Trace the round shape on the paper plates, and cut them out. Paper plates are a good light weight card stock that works well in handmade crafts. Now, with a marker add the baseball stitching and maybe a team or league name. Cut a slit in the glove that is long enough to slide in about a fifth of the baseball. On the back on the baseball write you party information; put the glove with the ball inserted in an envelope and make a homemade memory.

Decorate your baseball party with dangling ceiling accessories, posters, banners and confetti, and then take many pictures around the entire fiesta. Pass out mini albums as favors and enjoy the food and company.
