Handmade Bowling Invitations
You can create handmade invitations for a bowling party that will “bowl” your guests over. Start with card stock in any color. Cut it so that when folded in half it will fit into your envelope. Use a glue stick to “write” lines, curves, dots, or any shape you want. Space them out on the card. Now fold it so your glue is on the inside. This is where your homemade card starts to shine. Sprinkle it with glitter and shake off the excess. Cut round shapes out of black construction paper and put areas of glue on the round “balls” to represent the thumb and finger holes in a bowling ball. Sprinkle your handmade ball with glitter, and shake off the excess. Next cut pin shapes out of white construction paper or use paper plates for a very white color. Write the party info on the pins. Glue your homemade pins on the upper part of the bottom section of the card near the fold. Made them look like they are falling by slanting them. Glue the ball close to the bottom of the pins so it looks like it is hitting the pins. You can personalize your homemade card by writing the guest’s name on the upper section of the inside of the cars. On the outside of the cards you could write a slogan and add a little more glitter. On the envelope continue your handmade creativity by drawing three or four small bowling pins. All you need is the outline. Make one or two slant so they appear to be falling. There you have it, a great handmade invitation. Get your bowling equipment personalized with imprinted lettering and make it look cool. You can personalize just about anything from shoes, bags, hats, and even bowling balls. Get creative and rock your bowling outfits with style.
