Handmade Cats Kittens Invitations
Cat & Kittens is a theme that makes for some very cute homemade party invitations. These invitations can be used for birthday parties, office parties, bachelorette parties, child’s parties and more. There is no limit to what the Cat & Kittens theme can do for any type of celebration.
Start the Cat & Kittens invites off with using regular, white card stock. Next, either draw or trace on an image of a window. Be sure to make sure the window lines up with the sides and top of the invitation covering it all the way to the edge. Next, find a picture of a cat or kitten. This can be from online through photo sources or even through a clip art. Even if the clip art is filled in with black, it can always be painted a different color with paints. Be sure that the cat or kitten picture is large enough to cover most of the window; place the cat feet at the base of the window like it is sitting on the window sill and be sure to leave enough room at the top for a quick introduction such as “You’re Invited”.
Add a little fun to the homemade party invitation by gluing on either a small ball of yarn or a couple of strands of yarn. This will give the customized party invitation texture and make it unique. Have fun creating different background scene for the Cat & Kittens to play in and decide which one works best for the party that is being thrown.
