Handmade Christmas Invitations
Christmas is the time of giving and what better way to give than a handmade party invitation to the family Christmas bash? Many of us spend so much money on decorations, food, and gifts that we have limited budget for something like a party invitation. It does not have to be expensive and with just a little time your guests will appreciate your homemade party invitations much more than ones you can purchase.
Head to your local craft store and pick up some red and white construction paper, gold glitter, a white paint pen, and even some pre-made mini gold bows. Cut the red construction paper into the shape of a stocking and use the white paper as a trim. Use your white paint pen to write your invitation on the front of the stocking. Accent with the gold ribbons and glitter. Get the kids to help on the project. Christmas time is about spending it with family and there is no better way than making homemade party invitations.
You need to have a theme for all party occasions as this gives the party planning some direction. If Christmas is the event you can have a Santa, Reindeers, angels, snow, or Gifts as your primary theme. You can buy party supplies accordingly and make the best party ever. You can also make the cake according to this theme and as party favors you can give Christmas cards with a picture of your theme and some candy cane. This little gift is nice and sweet as well as very cost effective.
