Handmade Clambake Invitations
Your homemade party invitations for your next clambake should express fun, excitement and, of course, food! During a clambake people get together and enjoy large varieties of seafood while highlighting clams. Get your guests into the spirit by creating vivid handmade clambake party invitations!
Garner interest by sending out homemade party invitations that take the form of a clam. You can get plastic clams and include an invitation folded up, or, you create a cutout of a clam out of cardstock. Whichever you choose, it will represent your clambake party very well.
If you choose to create your handmade clambake party invitations out of card stock, you will first need to find a template of a clam. Be sure to have two pieces of cardstock; one for the top, one for the bottom. You can choose whichever color you want and decorate it however you want on the outside by using paints, glitter, markers and more. When you are done decorating the clam halves, tie them together by punching two holes on the back and then securing it with ribbon.
Next, open up the clam handmade party invitation and secure a print out from the computer on the bottom half that gives the important information such as date, time, location, phone number, etc. You can keep this plain or decorate it with eating utensils or other seafood choices. On the top of the clam, you can include interesting facts about clams or any type of seafood to give a special touch to your homemade clambake party invitations.
Why not host a Clambake this month and bring together your friends and family for a delicious tradition? You can bring the beach to your backyard by decorating the tables with seashells and hang nets from the ceiling (or trees) filled with plastic fish, crabs and starfish. Don't forget red and white checkered tablecloths to complete the look.
