Handmade Cocktail Invitations
Homemade party invitations for your next cocktail party can be fun and easy while making a huge impact on your guests. This will get them excited about your event and show up ready to go! Gather party supplies that you will need to create these cocktail handmade party invitations such as card stock, ribbon, plastic martini glasses (optional), pens, paint and other decorating supplies.
If you want a three dimensional handmade part invitation, you can use a plastic martini glass that are very inexpensive compared to the dramatic edge your cocktail invitations will get or you. You can decorate your martini glass by putting a ribbon of your choice around the top neck of the stem, place your invitation in the drink area and even paint the outside of the glass. Some people even prefer to paint the actual invitation on the glass.
If you would like to make a cardstock invitation, choose the color of the cardstock you would like to use and trace a martini glass shape on it. Cut the shape out and then print the important information such as date, time, location, etc. You can use a printer or hand write it.
Tip: If you will be using a printer, be sure to print the information on the cardstock first, before you cut it out. This allows the paper to feed into the printer properly without any problems.
Have fun creating your cocktail homemade party invitations and be sure to use bright colors or reds and creams.
When planning a cocktail party, hire a bartender for making cocktails and this will give you time to interact with your guests. If you don’t think it fits your budget then ask your friends or some family member to help bartender.
