Handmade Earth Day Invitations
We all want to be economical when it comes to creating a homemade party invitation for Earth Day. Some companies will offer you invitations made out of recycled paper, but where is the fun in that?
Head to your local craft store and pick up some recycle paper of your own. Many craft stores carry recycled cardstock paper in a variety of colors. Pick up green, blue, and white. Cut the blue paper in the shape of the globe, the green in the shape of continents, and paste them all together. Taking your white cardstock, fold it into quarters to make the shape of a card, and paste your homemade globe on the front. Write your handmade party invitation invite inside the card and you are ready to go. Tell your guests to “go green” by recycling their invitation; that way no wasted paper has been done from your handmade party invitation.
As Earth Day approaches, make sure you have all of your party supplies ready for a great event. Have blue and green balloons, piñatas, confetti, matching table cloths, center pieces and dangling ceiling decorations. Have flower arrangements and imprinted holiday cards for all the special guests.
