Elvis Presley is the undisputed king of rock’n’roll; so when planning an Elvis party, make an effort to honor the king with some rockin’ Elvis homemade invitations.
When writing up a handmade Elvis Presley invitation, the party host should feel free to use some cutesy lingo familiar to fans of the king. He/she could write, “You won’t be nothin’ but a hound dog if you miss this party” or “Are You Lonesome Tonight? Then come to my party!” or even “Slip on your Blue Suede Shoes and come on over for a rockin’ Elvis party!” (All right, all right, we’ll stop now?) Then the party planner should list all pertinent details regarding the time, date and place of the festivity.
It should be no problem finding images of the king for a handmade Elvis invitation. Just check the Internet, or copy and paste some images from a book about the king; or perhaps from an old music magazine. Those who are artistically inclined may even wish to draw or paint their own likenesses of the classic rock star. And those who are particularly adventurous could be photographed in a white sparkly jumpsuit and a huge black Elvis wig; pasting the resulting pictures on the face of the invite! (Just don’t be surprised if the photos are used as blackmail material at a later date!:))
