Handmade Fathers Day Invitations
Throwing a Father’s Day party this year for that special man in your life could not be easier than with some homemade party invitations. A handmade party invitation shows effort and care into your celebration while celebrating the man of honor…Dad. Though we have limited time as we plan parties, try this simple way to create a homemade party invitation that is sure to impress without taking more than an hour of your day. You can even include the kids in on your little craft project.
Take a quick visit to your local craft store and pick up some colorful construction papers. Cut your construction paper into the shape of ties and use the other colors to add polka dots, strips, etc. Let the kids go as crazy as they would like with their decorations. Glue all of your decorations onto the front of the tie, but be sure that your tie is not smaller than four inches in length. Handwrite or use your computer to type up a message for your invitation. Paste the invitation to the back of the tie and hand them out to your family and friends. It is a cute and fun way to make a homemade party invitation that even your kids can take part in.
For father’s day you should plan a big feast and invite some family and friends over. Have some party supplies and start the night by playing some board games and end it by giving the guest party favors. Have imprinted note pads for the dads and goodie bags for the kids.
