Handmade Holy Communion Invitations
Your Holy Communion homemade party invitation should be a wonderful combination of joy, religion and unique characteristics. It is important to represent every aspect of the time and therefore should include items such as bread and wine.
The color of the cardstock that should be used should be of a burgundy, white or beige color. This would directly represent the colors of purity, wine and bread. You will want to make your handmade party invitation clean and uninterrupted. This means that you will want to have possibly one image or decoration on the front and then the details lay out nicely on the inside.
If you wanted to add a little more to your homemade invitations, you could include an inlay of a picture on the inside left with the information on the right. Create a border around the images you choose to use to make them stand out. By doing this, you will also be adding another decorative element while still remaining in line with a clean appearance.
Finally, you might want to top it off with gluing a ribbon of the same color on the front, or even contrasting, down the inside center of the handmade invitation. This will represent the bible and also looks very nice and professional.
Keep in mind not to overdo the decorative elements because after so many additions, you lose sight of the intended meaning. For images you should consider “ The Last Super”, Jesus and a table with wine and bread on top. Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations are a religious commemoration of the “coming of age” of boys and girls when they turn 13. While some Bar/Bat Mitzvahs are celebrated with a small casual brunch following the service, others are major events with all the stops pulled out!
