The first Saturday in May is the yearly Kentucky Derby horse race, so make sure to plan ahead for the appropriate Kentucky Derby Party Supplies and a smashingly good time. Invite your guests using Derby language (surf around on the Net for hints and tips from the pros), asking guests to come to the 'track', with the 'trainers' as the hosts of the special event. Offer lots of food in as many horseshoe shapes as possible: Jello molds, salmon mousse, ice cubes, cupcake icing - the works. Your tables should be covered in flowers (red roses if it's affordable), and lots of chocolate horses.
Having a Kentucky Derby festivity is great especially because it’s a theme suitable for all ages. You can decorate the event with very cost effective items like balloons, banners, confetti, posters and dangling ceiling decorations. As dessert have a big horse cake and take many pictures throughout the event. Play games and enjoy the company of your loved ones. |
