Handmade Mickey Mouse Invitations
Throwing a Mickey Mouse party and do not want to pay for mass produced licensed party invitations? Save money and have more fun by making your own homemade party invitations with a Mickey Mouse theme. You can easily make them by printing out templates, but you can also create your own on the computer using Mickey Mouse images and a computer program such as PowerPoint.
Homemade party invitations for a Mickey Mouse party can also fun to make more creatively, especially if you get kids involved since making them on the computer might not be that easy or fun for them. For younger kids it will probably be easiest to make the Mickey Mouse theme by using printed out images or stickers of Mickey and perhaps also some of his friends, such as his dog Pluto. Kids who are good at drawing or a least have an interest in trying to draw things themselves might enjoy drawing Mickey and friends on the invitations instead of using stickers or images.
To make a fun invitation that does not require much drawing skills and still has a homemade party invitation feel you can make it in a fun Mickey Mouse shape. The easiest way to do this is to make the invitation in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head. To make the shape draw a big circle (a bowl turned over works good for this) and then two smaller circles (cups work good for this) for the ears. Then cut the shape you have drawn out. You can make the first one as the template to then trace on the other paper to make more faster. Before a Mickey Mouse party, hide different Mickey items around the party area. Then, as an activity during the party, have the kids search for them. The one who finds the most wins a prize and gets to take first shot at your Mickey pinata.
