Handmade Passover Invitations
While planning your Passover celebration this year, why not make homemade party invitations? The Jewish Passover is a long standing holiday that is known throughout the world and celebrates the three pilgrimages of the Jewish religion. Many Passover gatherings are with family, friends, and even church members. Pass out your handmade party invitations to your guests and let them know how special the holiday is to you this year.
Head over to your local craft store and pick up some blue cardstock paper, a gold paint pen and some gold glitter. Cut your blue cardstock into individual four by six inch sheets. Using a ruler and your gold paint pen, draw the Star of David in the middle of the paper. Underneath the star add a Passover quote or scripture that is meaningful to you. On the opposite end handwrite your invitation with either a black or gold pen. Place your invitation in an envelope with sprinkles of glitter and mail off to family and friends. Your guests will open them to a beautiful Passover homemade party invitation with a quote that reminds them of the importance of Passover.
In Israel Passover lasts seven days and it’s celebrated amongst friends and family. Have a gathering at your home and prepare a big feast with all your loved ones present. Give the guests engraved mini metallic albums to save the lovely memories and remember this day for many years to come.
