Handmade Star Wars Invitations
There are plenty of ways to make your own homemade party invitations for a Star Wars themed party. You could go with a light side (i.e. good, Jedi) theme or a dark side (i.e. evil, Sith) theme. Either way you will have a lot of characters to choose from to feature on your invitation. You might want to narrow it down to a specific Star Wars movie, but you could also just go with your favorite characters even if they appear in different movies. Additionally, you could have a mixed theme with the Jedi and Sith fighting.
One fun way to create Star Wars themed homemade party invitations is to make them shaped like Star Wars characters or shapes. For example, you could make a lightsaber shaped invitation. You could make it to look like the lightsaber your favorite Jedi carries such as a blue one if you like Obi Wan Kenobi or a double sided red one if you like Darth Maul. For a fun addition, you could tape on a glowstick that your can crack and have their invitation glow like a real lightsaber for a few hours. The glowstick option works good if you are handing them out to your friends. If you are mailing them, they will probably get cracked in the mail and no longer glow when they reach the recipient.
Another way to make Star Wars homemade party invitations is using the computer. You can create them with images you find online and using a graphic art program, such as PowerPoint. You can choose just character images or images of favorite Star Wars scenes. Do not forget to type in the information about the party, such as time, date, and location. Buy Star Wars figures and place on the floor at your Star Wars party. The kids can play with these when they are in-between activities.
