Handmade Super Bowl Invitations

When it comes to making homemade party invitations for the Super Bowl, it can be difficult to come up with ideas. After planning out the party details, making all the arrangements for food, who has anything left to come up with ideas for invitations? Sure, it could be easier to go purchase some invitations at the local party store, but where is the fun in that? Homemade party invitations do not have to be difficult. They should be fun!

To make Super Bowl handmade party invitations that will catch your guest’s attention, you need to think of the event. Football! Go to your local party store and pick up a bag of bean bag foot balls. With a white paint pen, write your party invitation on the ball and give them to friends and family. It’s an easy, but fun way to create homemade party invitations.

Or you can create two helmets out of foam, one for each team playing in the Super Bowl that day. This will require a quick trip to the local craft store, but well worth it. Pick up construction paper in the color of the opposing teams and some pre-cut foam football helmets (at least 2” in diameter). Cut out the colors and team names and put them on the foam helmets. Write your invitation and then tie the two helmets together with string. Have your guests return the helmet of the team they will be rooting for as their RSVP.

Two very easy Super Bowl handmade party invitations that won’t break the bank, or your sanity when planning your next party. For Super Bowl gatherings it’s always cool to have plenty of snacks and party favors to give the guests. Make mini imprinted menus with appetizers and sweets, and pass them around for everyone to get a chance to pick what they really want and you can avoid throwing away tons of unwanted food. Have refreshments in the menus and decorate these mini menus with your favorite team colors.
