Handmade Veterans Day Invitations
We all want to be creative for Veteran’s Day, so why not start with a homemade party invitation? By one quick trip to the craft store you can woo your guests with your crafty side, while still not losing a beat in your party planning to-do list.
At the craft store, pick up some red and white cardstock papers with red, white, and blue striped fabric ribbon. Cut the cardstock papers into individual four by four inch squares and set aside. Cut your white cardstock papers into squares three and a half inches wide and paste to your red card stock. With your patriotically striped ribbon, form individual bows large enough to cover the top corner of your invitation and glue to your red and white cardstock papers. Allow the invitation to dry fully overnight before writing your custom invitation message on the white cardstock paper. Add a famous Veteran's Day quote at the bottom of your invitation and place them in red, white and blue envelopes. Mail them off to your guests and bask in the success of a quick and easy homemade party invitation that will impress your family and friends.
Holidays are those special days that are meant to celebrate, remember and express gratitude in general. Holidays are based on different calender dates and are usually celebrated for an event that could date back to even the 1550 or even before. Holidays are annual celebrations that have been around for decades and will continue for many more to come. Holidays are needed to remember events that happened and were historic or that were so meaningful that one will continue to praise it for as long as one lives, most holidays are past from generation to generation.
